Carl considers 'borrowing' a motor boat for a spin around one of the lakes in Booti Booti national park.

A laughing Kookaburra. Apparently the largest member of the Kingfisher family. This one eats snakes, lizards and anything it can poach from the BBQ. This picture doesn't do it justice. It was huge - and just three feet away.
